The right thing

 The prevention of faith

Three totally unanswerable questions about the “right” thing.

1. Did I do the right thing when l ……? (Past)

2. Am l doing the right thing…..? ( present)

3. Will I be doing the right thing if I…? (Future)

The desire to know or to do the right thing results in confusion as to what the right thing is. In confusion there is the inability to make up one’s mind. The inability to make up one’s mind is the lack of faith. The elimination of the concept of doing the “right thing” results in the freedom to choose whether or not a given thing would be an interesting experiment. It releases the ability to make up the mind. The ability to make up one’s mind is FAITH, the greatest power known to the human race.

Our problem with the “right thing” is that we are seeking standards found in the man made world. We are trying to decide for ourselves what is “right” and “wrong”, which is a product of the three great professions. 

The three great professions are in competition with each other in the man made world. They do not trust each other. However there are times when the two of them have joined, one attempting to use the other.

At one time force (political) and theology got together with Theology using force. This resulted in the inquisition and the Dark Ages. At the present time, Force and Science (as a branch of the healing arts) have joined together with Force using Science. The tendency is towards totalitarian regimes and war: horrifying war with the possibility of total annihilation of humanity.
